My Story

From bedside to bytes

I spent over a decade in clinical healthcare — starting as an EKG tech, advancing to polysomnography technologist, and eventually leading sleep and pulmonary services as Regional Service Lead at Kaiser Permanente Northwest.

Healthcare operations taught me something most data analysts don't learn in school: data only matters if the people who need it can actually use it. Dashboards that clinicians ignored. Reports that never changed decisions. I watched it happen constantly.

Now based in Klamath Falls, OR — I'm pursuing a B.S. in Data Analytics at WGU while building real projects that bridge my clinical background with technology: soil sensors for local farmers, mobile apps, and IoT dashboards that actually get used.
